Just Olive Cleansing Oil

Replace your harsh cleanser with the following natural acne skin care recipe. This gentle acne-prone skin cleanser will stay fresh for up to three months when stored in a pump bottle on your bathroom counter.


2 ounces organic EVOO

1 ampoule vitamin E

1 drop of tea tree or geranium oil


Pour oil into a stainless steel shaker.

Add the vitamin E and essential oil.

Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Massage into skin to cleanse.

Rinse and pat dry.


Tomato Juice and Watermelon Toner


1/4 cup organic tomato juice

1 cup of organic watermelon juice


Apply with cotton ball avoiding sensitive areas of the eyes and mouth.

Homemade Acne Toner

Does your natural acne skin care regimen include a toner? Remove left over dirt and oil, and close your pores with this simple homemade toner recipe.


4 oz witch hazel

4 drops tea tree oil

2 drops lemon oil


Place all ingredients in a 4 oz spray bottle.

Shake before each use.

Spritz onto face.


Pineapple and Papaya Face Mask

An important, but often overlooked part of an effective natural acne skin care regimen, is exfoliation. Exfoliating face masks help remove toxins and oil build-up, allowing skin to breathe.


1/4 cup mashed papaya

1 teaspoon raw pineapple juice


Mix papaya and pineapple juice to form a smooth paste.

Pat paste on face and neck.

Leave on skin for 15-20 minutes.

Rinse and pat dry.


Acne Clearing Facial Steam

Use following ance facial steam once per week, before cleansing, to loosen sebum and bacteria that clog pores and cause acne.


1 quart steaming water

1 drop clary sage

1 drop lemon oil

1 drop palmarosa oil


Pour water into 2 quart glass bowl.

Drop oils into water and gently disperse.

Drape a towel over your head and bowl to capture steam.

Steam your face for 5 minutes.

Tea Tree Healing Oil

**Avoid using during the first three months of pregnancy.


1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil

10 drops pure organic tea tree oil

3 drops chamomile essential oil

2 drops geranium essential oil

Combine all the ingredients in a small pump bottle.

Use twice daily on areas affected by acne.

Juniper Soothing Oil


Antiseptic and antibiotic, juniper oil is perfect for soothing blemishes.

4 tsp olive oil

1-2 drops juniper oil


Apply to affected areas.
