I have naturally dry skin all year long. It is especially dry to the point of cracking in the winter. My lips will stay cracked unless I constantly apply lip balm. Any kind of soap that I use on my face leaves my skin worse. And I have tried every kind of soap under the sun. I have tried lotion soaps, moisturizing soaps, expensive and the cheapest soaps. All of them do the same thing, which is to leave my skin so dry anyone can see it all over my face.
I finally got fed up with it and did my own research. I searched all over the Internet. Some recipes I tried and they did not work. I tried all the recipes and recommendations that I found. Some were ok and some were called natural and still used harsh ingredients. I finally found something that works. It leaves my skin naturally beautiful and radiantly healthy.
This recipe is a little different than what you may be used to, but I thought I would share it on this site. It seemed appropriate. The recipe is very simple.
2 cups white clay
1 cup finely ground oats
¼ cup finely ground almonds
1/8 cup finely ground lavender
1/8 cup poppy seeds or finely ground blue corn
1/8 cup finely ground roses
Mix and store all the ingredients together in a glass jar. For convenience, you can put it in a glass jar with a shaker top. Use about 1 – 2 teaspoons and mix with water. Stir until it becomes a paste and message into your face. Then rinse with warm water.
Yes, this recipe is a little weird, but it is wonderful to your skin. It cleans it and nourishes it very well. My face is beautiful. No more dryness even in the winter.
